This is the "lechon baboy"!
Lechon means a pork dish originated from the Spanish term lechon; that refers to a suckling pig that is roasted. Baboy means a pig by Cebuano language. When we eat it, we can cut it by dish! It's really yummy!! :)

今回のインタビューは番外編。2013年9月6日〜10月8日まで留学していたフィリピンのセブ島でお世話になった英語学校の先生やスタッフの方たちの登場です。平易な英語で書いてありますので（それしか書けませ〜ん!! 苦笑）、ご覧いただけたら嬉しいです。授業は平日8コマあり、毎日8人の先生に習っていました(^_^)
This interviewee are teachers and staffs of English school in Cebu, Philippines, which I had been studied from 6th September to 8th October 2013. Thank you guys!! You are really nice!! : )

"I want to share my knowlede to the ESL student."
●Nickname：Pal, Mariz, Lea
●Age：32
●Birth place：Cebu City

●Sibling：an older sister and a younger brother
●Hobbies：cooking, island hopping, decorating the house, surfing the internet, reading any materials, listening the music, watching movie, videoke (like KARAOKE), playing with my 4 dogs, malling(=shopping), eating out and chitchatting with friend
●Favorite foods：sea foods like shurimp, squid, lobster, shellfish, pasta, fruits and vegutables
●Favorite color：pink, blue, green (sometimes changes)
●My character：IT depends on situation. Sometimes serious, sometimes funny, easy-go- lucky, career oriented person, generous, kind, careing. I am a soft haearted person. When I see someone who needs help I help them as much as I can.
●Favorite saying：Live life to the fullest!
●Major：Before I took up Bachelor of Science major in Business Administration for 2 years and then I shifted to Bachelor of Science major in Nursing. I'm already a Registered nurse in the Philippines. I'm currently finishing my Masters degree in Nursing. Hopefully this coming March or April I will graduate.
●Previous job：I was an operating and a delivery room nurse for 2 years. After that I worked as a praivate nurse for 4 years, and as an English teacher at other academy for 6 months.
●The reason that I work as an ESL teacher：I'm not a professional teacher, but I learned English at an early age so I want to share my knowledge to the ESL students.
●Future plan：I'm planning to apply as a Nurse in Canada after I'm done with all my obligations in the Philippines.

●The reason that I work as an ESL teacher：I want to impart my knowledge to the students at the same time I want to build a good relationship to foreign students.
●Future plan：I want to get master's degree of kindergarten teacher, and I want to go to Europe, especially London and Paris. I want to experience their life and culture.

●The reason that I worked as an ESL teacher：I wanted to expand the field of view and make a lot of friends, not only Filipino, but Japanese.
●Future plan：I'm interested in learning Japanese that now I'm studying it. My friend who lived in Japan before inspired me to study it. If I have a chance, I want to go to Japan someday.

March taught me a lot of idioms.
She also told me various things of living in the Philippines, such as a lizard often seen in my room, delicious bread shops (PAN de MANILA), and so on. :)

※We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at school. Junrey and Ariel cooked, and Solevyn and Joan served. They are really friendly! Breakfast was served at 7:00~7:45 (Fri 6:45~7:30), but I couldn't get up at that time! So when I was hungry before lunch, I was eating yogurt, fruits, cereal and so on, between class and class!

●The reason that I work as an ESL teacher：In my case, I really want to meet and talk to people with different nationality with different personality. I also want to impart knowledge to students, above all! I am enjoying what I’m doing.

●Previous job：I worked at travel agency and another ESL school. Until now, every Sunday I still teach children（from 3 to 11 years old） everything about Jeuse Christ in the church .
●The reason that I work as an ESL teacher：Beause I love learning English and talking helping people learn English with happy attitude.
●Future plan：My concentration is science. So I'm planning to apply as a science teacher in elementary school.

●Hobby：writing poems, reading books (especially novels and psychological books), playing keyboard, singing, dancing, drawing

●Previous job：While I was a university student, I worked as a secretary in Government on an internship. Now I work here on weekends, and on Saturday, I go to the university to get master degree.
●Favorite saying：My motto is “If others can do, why can’t I ? “ and favorite saying is ”Learning is unending process.”
●The reason that I work as an ESL teacher：I am a fresh graduate, so I want have more experience to teach something. Teaching English to Japanese is more challenging to compare with teaching Filipino.So I want to try!
●Future plan：After I get master degree, I plan to teach English literature in my university. If I have chance, I want to study doctor’s degree and become a professor.

●Hobbies：reading novels（especially romance and SF）
●Favorite foods：Filipino foods, specifically pork chop
●Favorite color：red, yellow, orange and pink
●My character：I'm jolly, kind, sweat, frriendly, easy to be with.
●Favorite saying：Time is gold and every minutes is precious.
●Major：social studies（I studied not only history, but also sociology, economics, and so on.）
●Previous job：After I graduated university, I became an ESL teacher in another school.
●The reason that I work as an ESL teacher：We had learned English when we are childhood, so it is easier to teach in English, and I enjoy teaching foreigners using English.
●Future plan：My future plan is to work at the public high school as a teacher of social studies and to have my own family. We can get higher salary at public school than private school. To tell the truth, when I was a child, I wanted to become an accountant at the bank.But my mother forced me to become a teacher because it's a steady job.
Now I want to marry as soon as possible.lol Because Filipinos life span is about 60 years old (because of rice eater!) , so my age is little bit difficult to find partner!!! If I get married, I want 2 or 3 children. Children takes much money, so I can't have them more than 3. In Philippines, women usually continue to work even if we have child. We can get 2 or 3 months holiday for maternity leave. After that we can come back to work.
●Important thing in my life：Family is my most important. Money and the thing will be disappeared one day, but family stay with me all the time.
８th Class：16:00〜16:50 （Fri 15:30〜16:20）teacher：Synett August Portugaliza
On the day of my last class, Mariz gave me a letter! I was really pleased to have it! :)
Mae is so young, but I didn’t feel generation gap to her because she held her own.
In her class, she always asked me "why do you think so? why? why?" lol... I had to think all the time in order to give an appropriate answer. I rarely had opportunity like that in Japan, so exchanging opinions with her was really excited for me! :)
Synett picked up the thema in a range of issues, for example, capital punishment, gender, marriage, family violence etc. After hearing sentences, we discussed them. I was very interested I could know the difference between the system of Japan and Philippine! :)
Manilyn showed me her pictures from childhood to now.The pictures of a man second from the top is her husband. He looks very kind.
She worked at travel agency before, so she
introduced me some hotels when I went to Bohol island.
Other staffs
Printz is a staff of massage salon near my school that I went well :) The salon was carrying out the first anniversary campaign. The price was very reasonable, so many students went there.
Cute nails! & Presents for me!

（right）She gave me a rosary ordered to choose nice blue beads and cordial letter on the day of my last class. I was so happy! :)
Pancake House, Red Ribbon…written on the whiteboard are names of cake shops. On the day of my first class, first of all, I asked Noreen about delicious sweets shop. lol
